KingswaySoft - Replacing Certain Values in Migration

Posted on by 25

Hi All

My organization has begun the process of moving from On Prem to the cloud. We are using KingswaySoft and have just started looking at this

One of the issues i have come across is, for example. the users migration. Every time i try to migrate i get the error the businessunitID doesn't exist

What i am trying to do, and can't understand, is essentially replace the value that is being migrated with the value of the new businessunitID that exists in the cloud. So for example, i get the below error when attempting to migrate the data: -

CRM service call returned an error: businessunit With Id = a7634108-****-e411-****-005****4dac Does Not Exist
(i hashed out the numbers and letters)

I'm not sure if im missing something obvious but if anyone can help point me in the right direction that would be great

Thanks

    Hi

Thanks for this, which screenshot do you need?

I've attempted to use the lookup feature but unsure on how it works as needed or if it can do whats required

    Thanks

can you send a screenshot from Kingswaysoft so we can see how it is setup?

Also FYI, there is an OP2OL factory if you just anted to put your whole database  https://community.dynamics.com/365/b/techtalks/posts/on-premises-to-online-migration-factory-overview-march-22-2021 that is a free offering from MS.
