Thanks for your kind support Leslie.

Actually my Question is, How can i maintain GP Standards while coding and customizing any product under Dynamics GP?

Let me define few Examples. i am sure you will get my point with these examples.

example 1:- we can write the code on any textbox and make it invisible. then we call the code by using run script of that field.

same thing we can achieve with functions and procedure.

    Example 2:-

for count the records in a table. there are two ways

    1- using SQL query

    2- countrecords method of SQL

so, when and why, which method Dynamics GP prefer.not only for these example. like these many scenarios are there.

    Hi Vikas,

Are you asking how you can determine, or keep track of, the changes you've made to GP using each of the tools?  For instance: (1) using VBA, these changes were made . . . (2) using .Net, these changes were made . . .  (3) using Dexterity these changes were made . . .

If that's the case, you need to maintain your own documentation. There is no tool I am aware of that will analyze these things automatically for you.

    Kind regards,

    Leslie
