Restore Deleted Items (but are they really deleted)?

In one of our entities (CAN), we went live in two steps.  For step one, they added a few Released Products manually so they could do some transactions on one simple product line.  For the Go-live (step two), we had our consultants load all the parts they needed from a conversion file.

Somehow, some of the parts that were already installed got deleted (I will use ABCDEFG for an example).   It does not show up in the Released Product Form. So when we try to release any of those parts to our CAN Entity, they get the following error :  Cannot create a record in items (inventTable).  Item number: Item, ABCDEFG.  The record already exists.

When I look for it in the InventTable, the EcoResProduct and the EcoResProductIdentifier, ItemId ABCDEFG is there.  Everything looks great, but when we try to see them in the CAN Entity in the released products form, it does now show up.  (but it does show up in our USA Entity.)

Why would the data show up in the appropriate tables, but not in the appropriate forms?  Is there some table someplace that needs to be updated to allow us to use this product?  Or are we forever stuck in Limbo with the product there, but not there?

Have you noticed the Number sequence of ItemId in both entities(CAN and USA)

I am doubtful about Number sequence of CAN, make sure if there are nay pending number sequences that might needed a delete.

Does the Item also exist in the tables InventItemLocation and InventTableModule (there should be three records for the item in this table) in the CAN entity?

In the CAN entity, can you see the item on the Released product list page?

I see it in the InventItemLocation and InventTableModule (all 3 records), but I do not see it in the Released Products List page (but do see it in the InventTable).  This is what is confusing.  I can see it all over the place in the AOT, but not in the screens.  What is telling the system that this is not a valid part when I can see it on the backside?

Not exactly sure what you are asking.  The ItemId is in both CAN and USA in Multiple tables (including InventTable), but does not show up in the Released Products list.

The Released product list page in the standard AX that I am looking at is based on the datasource InventTable, with an inner join to EcoResProduct. I believe that means items will only appear if there is a record for the item in both these tables. But you say this is already the case.

So, has the Released product list page been modified? The last time I remember something like this coming up, and item wouldn't show in the Released product details form, and there was a custom table that had been added to the datasource for that form.

I finally noticed something.  In the InventTable, there is a Hash Key called DAXIntegrationKey.  All of the records that have this problem have {00000000-0000-0000-0000-000000000000} for this key.

This problem must have something to do with this field.  How to undo that - is something I don't know how to do.

Can anybody point me in the correct direction - or am I hosed?

Would it be as simple as creating a job to read the records that have the  {00000000-0000-0000-0000-000000000000} for the key, and calling InventTable.daxIntegrationKey = newGuid(); doing an update, and everything would start working again?
