"Error : Access to the resource is forbidden" when trying to access ProductReceiptLines data using Odata in excel.

Hello,

Hope you are doing good!

We are on 10.0.18 and trying to access the ProductReceiptLines using Odata in Excel but facing error "Access to the resource is forbidden" when the user is assigned with the privileges "View Product receipt line" and "Export Product receipt line". But with Sys Admin role user can able to access.

Any suggestions would be really helpful, Thanks!

And actually with the same privileges "View Product receipt line" and "Export Product receipt line" user can able access ProductReceiptLines using Odata feed in Power BI.

Please make sure that the users have permissions on the entity.

Hi MSandy,

Will is correct. The user should have access to the data entity to use OData. Power BI has a different authorization and permissions which are not related to Dynamics 365 security.
