Hide/Dissable "Show Results" Filter Option on Sales Report

(0) ShareShare
ReportReport
Posted on by Microsoft Employee

Hi

I have created a new report and made some amendments based on (Customer - Top 10 List Report 111) and wandered if it was possible to hide or dissable the "Show Results" filter when you run the report but keep the "Limit Totals" section of the filtering.

If not, is it possible to not be able to choose "No" (Customer No.) in the look up part of the filter?

The reason I ask is that I have created a role for our external sales engineers only to see customers relating to them based on the sales person code set on the customer cards which works great however if the sales engineer runs his top 10 list and chooses No. in his Show results fitler then when he drills into the next section to choose the customer no./s  he can see all customers not just his own based in his area.

Plesae advise.

    Sharon,

    You need to verify the answer which helped to resolve your issue, so that other user's with same issue will apply that solution. If none of the answer's helped you can then post the answer which you found outside this forum and mark your post as answered.

    This applies to all the posts.

    No, you cannot do that using DataItemTableView but you can achieve your requirement by adding the code in OnPreReport trigger as shown below

    Customer.SETRANGE("Date Filter",TODAY,CALCDATE('<1Y>',TODAY));

    Hi

    Sorry I have another quick question now if you can help?

    If I choose the Date Filter as an option to set a specific date range using the DataItemtableView way and choosing FILTER instead of CONST is there a way I can set the report to recognise using i.e Today-365 and run as that instead of inputting the actual date from and date to as a range?  This would be helpful if as this would then change daily and then I won't have to keep altering the date ranges.

    Please advise.

    Those are two different things, if you need default filter fields then you use ReqFilterFields but if you want filter a field to a specific value then you need to choose that on DataItemtableView property choose the Table Filter where you can add field and default value using CONST
