Periodic Journal - Process

Hi all,

I want to ask about the periodic journal - process.

As per my understanding the process is:

1. Create periodic journal 

2. Post periodic journal each month using general journal.

However my problem is, after I create my periodic journal template, and the post my first periodic journal.

When I try to post on the 2nd period of my periodic journal, no line is generated in the general journal.

Although I have retrieve the same journal.

Is there any field that I need to check so I can post the rest of the period of periodic journal?

    Your last request on e.g. setting the journal only to be posted 6 times is not possible to setup.

    It has been solved now.

    Then I have another question, let say I want to have 6 months periodic journal.

    Can I set the periodic jorunal can only be posted 6 times?

    The setting of "Months" and "6" will ensure that there will be an interval of 6 months from last time you retrieved the data into a daily journal till you can do it again.

    So try set system date to 6 months since last import into daily journal.

    Or make another setup so it e.g. state "Months" and "1" which will ensure that these data are used once a month.
