Transfer sales order quotation to Project

Hi all,

I would like to transfer a sales order quotation for service items (items are linked to project categories) to a Project but the option (Sales quotations > Follow-up) is greyed out. Any idea on whether this option works and what I am missing to activate it?

    Hi JM Paula,

    For projects, you need to use a separate project quotations form.

    The ordinary sales quotation form does not allow a transfer to projects, only the project quotation form does.

    Hi Ludwig,

    I had it to work with Project Quotations but was unsure if it was available with standard sales quotations. Thanks for your answer/confirmation.

    Agreed - if you set up the Quotation and select "Project Quotation" up front (because you cannot change the type after it has been setup) and have the Service items set up appropriately, then you can follow-up/transfer to a project.  It also helps if you could have a Project WBS template setup for certain sets of "types" of potential projects.
