The date in the Last Email Sent field is not matching date of the last email sent as recorded in the Activity timeline.

Is this a known issue with the July 2020 update?

I have the same question (0)

    Hi,

Have you created custom field Last Email Sent or is it OOB field?

If it is OOB, which entiy are you referring to? I asked this because I just checked Email entity OOB fields and I don't see Last Email Sent field available.

Do you have any custom code to populate this field value?

    Hi ,

It seems like you are using a custom field and using custom code or workflow/plugin to update the field.

If you are seeing date inconsistency, please check the user account time zone settings using which you are executing the workflow/plugin.

In case this is not the scenario, please share more information on this.

    Thanks,

    Soumen.

Yes Last Email Sent was a custom field created for our team. Related to it, "# Emails (Last 2 weeks)", was also created for us. Both stopped working in June and we're trying to figure out where the code is for these custom fields. (the dev who created them is no longer with us)

Seems the persistent challenge with custom solutions is that one solution can adversely affect another one written earlier. Our dev created solutions to transition from VOC to Forms input, which also required some changes to the Activity Queue, ie Timeline of Emails. The affect of this solution to the Last Email Sent field is not known.

Is the product team keeping track of custom solutions built on top of OOB? If so, can someone hunt down where the code is for this custom field?

Yes, it was a custom field. And it was working for all time zones prior to end of June.

    Hi,

You can probably check by yourself. Can you go to customization->customize teh system->Entity->Email->Fields->Select custom field->Click on more action->Show dependency to see what all places this button is used.

Also narrow down your search to Workflow and plugins. You can sort all activated workflows by entity name and check workflow which are related to Email

For plugin also you can check plugin steps registered on Email entity.
