BREP technicalities

Hi Experts

I would like to ask for clarifications of the NAV BREP.

1. In a BREP definition that i've read, it says that we are entitled to a "systems upgrade" but is NAV BREP only covers the license and not the implementation services or costs?

2. If we are to stop paying the BREP, and then when we want to upgrade to a new system, say after 5-7 yrs, would it be possible to just apply as a new customer/client?

TIA

    Re-enrollment Pricing

If you allow your Enhancement Plan enrollment to lapse, you may be subject to Re-enrollment

Pricing. Re-enrollment Pricing consists of two components: Back Pay and Future Year payment.

    6

    Back Pay—The current Enhancement Plan price (e.g. 16%) plus a 3% re-enrollment fee for

the period of time your Enhancement Plan has been lapsed.

Future Year—The price of a 365-day enrollment in the Enhancement Plan to cover the

    upcoming year’s enrollment.

    Hi Mouli and Experts

I have an issue that I think is covered by the BREP but am being told by our partner otherwise.

Our current NAV has a localized tax enhancement/module. we are currently looking to upgrade to the 2017/2018 version and our current partner is saying that the localized tax enhancement has to be purchased separately, thus us having to incur additional costs. We are current with our BREP and being current, aren't we entitled to this localization free of charge? isn't this covered by the BREP?

    Please advise

    TIA

    Hi Microsoft Personnel & Experts,

PLEASE REPLY. We have this question too.

When you pay the BREP (16% / 18% / 25%), this calculation already includes not just the payments made to Microsoft but also includes payments for the additional "Country Localization" cost.  This payment is on an annual basis and virtually forever as long as BREP is current.

Microsoft provides upgrades, updates, product fixes, service packs etc for customers current on their BREP plan. Why should Partner Vendors be permitted to try and charge more again (for this Country Localization) to end customers who are not in this industry and who are already confused?
