business rule - scope

Hello;

Can anyone explain me the meaning of all the scopes present in the business rules form , which include the followings

    Hello Rinkal,

    The scope of business rule can be either ‘Entity’ or ’All Forms’ or a specific form , so basically this list 'scope list' will always contain the below options:

    1. Entity Scope which executes at server side so in that case the business rule fires whenever that entity is created or saved either from the form inside CRM by a user or from any web application or server side code.
    2. All forms scope which executes at client side , In that case the business rule is fired when the form is loaded or updated only at the client CRM form.

    3. The third option will be a list of the related entity forms 'both OOB and customized' , so you can only trigger this business role to fire inside only one specific form and will follow the form scope so will be executed only on client side.

    I would like to know if scope is set to entity level and a custom field that was in business rule, not in form.

    Will this work? If no why doesn't it work?
