Invalid credentials while creating sales order

Hi Experts,

Recently we have done the DB refresh in dev environment with prod db.

while creating sales order I'm getting below error. Please help on this.

Note: After DB refresh done i enabled the all users.

Do you have customizations while creating sales orders? Note that some information is not copied during the database refresh process. You can read about it here: Refresh database - Finance & Operations | Dynamics 365 | Microsoft Learn

Thanks for your response.

whatever the customizations available in production those are available in dev env also. We just refreshed the prod data in dev env to debug some production issue.

anything i missed after DB refresh?

Hi Koti,

Not sure if you missed some steps after the DB refresh. I don't know what exact steps you performed. For that reason, I shared some documentation pages with you. Usually, password related fields are cleared during the DB refresh to prevent connecting to services related to the production environment.

Hi,

I would recommend you to check with your developer and debug in dev so you will see the place where the error is thrown. Guessing game with too little information I think will be time consuming ya.

Hi,

pl check

1. if this error is coming for all the users.

2. The user which you are trying, is also enabled in Prod server.

3. Create a new employee record and attached to your user and try again.

now I'm getting this error while creating/updating customers and is for one legal entity only I'm getting.

i've debugged nothing i found.

Hi Koti9999,

When an error is raised, it should break automatically and highlight the coding where it stops. Have you selected the correct symbols to be loaded and not only from an own extension model?
