how can you actually just send an email

Do you have to use the customer Journey to send emails

I want to get a segment  and email them without any triggers basically I want to create an email select the list and send?

can this be done easily?

Secondly you can send a Segment from a marketing list - does that mean this way you can email accounts/ Leads?

    Thanks for reaching out!!

    For sending out a mail you have to create Customer Journey. If you don't want to schedule you can use "Test Send" option in Customer Journey. But in short everything will go through Customer Journey.

    During Customer Journey the segment you select contains the accounts or leads as per your given criteria. So those selected leads will be getting the emails.

    so there is no way to actually just send an email everything has to be done via a customer Journey?

    if you build a workflow to send emails and make it run on demand you can select a group of people (advanced find or view) and select run workflow
