Hi 

I have a question about number sequence settings with WHS.

When I receive the item with WHS portal I obtained the error message below.

System does not support setup 'continuous' of number sequence xxxxx. Number selection is canceled.
Assign dimensions to LP

=======================

Why AX WHS does not allow to use continuous? How can we get through this?

    Hi Tom T,

    Continuous number sequences should be allocated inside a transaction in x++, probably this one is not. To fix this issue just remove "continuous" tick box on this number seq. It could be found under  "Organization administration > Common > Number sequences > Number sequences".

    Generally you should avoid continuous number seq because they have performance impact unless there is legal requirements.

    Hi Tom.

    Ievgen is correct here. Some additional note: Usually only invoice numbers and vouchers do have a requirement to be continuous. Other sequences may have gaps unless there is a legal requirement to have a sequence continuous.
