Connector for Dynamics: new CRM entity

Hello,

In order to test the integration between AX 2012 R3 and CRM 2013 with some customizations, I have created a new entity called "Country" in CRM. I would like to synchronise this entity with one of the tables that contain countries informations in AX, i.e. LogisticsAddressCountryRegion or LogisticsAddressCountryRegionTranslation.

In the Connector application, when adding a new map there is not any "Country" AX entity, so the only way I can imagine for synchronising the data is to use the map "Enumerated Values to Picklist". So I created a "Countries" picklist, that is local to the Account entity in CRM. But I can't see this new picklist under the "Account" node in the "Enumerated values to Picklist" connector map.

I would be very grateful for any suggestion about why the picklist is not present in the connector, or what kind of entity I could create in CRM to test the integration of customized values with AX.

Thank you in advance for any reply.

Best regards,

Agostino

Still no answers regarding the picklist. But I found a document that explains how to integrate customizations: blogs.msdn.com/.../customizing-a-microsoft-dynamics-ax-2012-and-microsoft-dynamics-crm-2011-integration.aspx

Regarding the picklist, Chris Hetzler of Microsoft gave me the answer:

"Custom Picklists in CRM are not supported out of the box by the Picklist map in Connector for Microsoft Dynamics.  There is a hack that you can apply to that object provider configuration file to enable them, but it is completely not supported and not recommended."
