Hi all,
According to the documentation, it is possible to launch Remote Assist from another app and provide a user’s Azure AD object ID to initiate a call.
Question: Does a similar approach exist to join a meeting from another app, e.g. by providing the meeting ID (obtained by graph API)?

Hi,
Here are some documentation which may help you.
Join a Dynamics 365 Remote Assist meeting on HoloLens - Dynamics 365 Mixed Reality | Microsoft Docs
Set up Microsoft Teams for Dynamics 365 Remote Assist - Dynamics 365 Mixed Reality | Microsoft Docs
Hello Nya,
Unfortunately the linked documentation only describes how to join a meeting from inside the Remote Assist applation. What I want to achieve is to start Remote Assist from another application so that it directly joins a specified meeting without any user interaction (like you can do it with a user’s Azure AD object ID using the protocol activation).
Hi ProdVis,
As you noticed, it's possible to protocol launch into D365 Remote Assist with AAD object ID of an user to initiate a call to, but unfortunately - similar support for launching into a specific meeting is not currently supported.
That's a signal we're continuing to monitor and prioritize, based on our customer needs. Thank you for sharing your interest in it - we're listening and it helps us prioritize the right features to deliver next!
Thank you,
Bogdan
