Modifications to resource allocations

If I have allocated a resource for a certain amount of time, and then halfway through the allocated period I decided to change the remaining time for the task.

I can change the allocated time through the maintain bookings option,but is it possible to have a versioning of the process ( having the old value as well as the new in order to track changes) ?
