Is it possible to set an Account field's value to a value from the primary contact?

Hi there,

I'm wondering if without code, it is possible to have a field called 'first name' on the account and then that feld is set to the first name of the primary contact associated with that account? And if it is possilbe, how can I do this?

    Hi extersphere,

    There's one OOB Way 'Create or edit mapping between fields' function for some 1:N relationship entities like Account and Contact which is similar with your request

    This function help certain items of data from the account record will be copied into the new contact form to set certain default values that you can edit before saving.

    (Not every 1:N entity relationship has them. When you view a list of 1:N (or N:1) entity relationships for an entity, you can filter the relationships shown by type. You can select either All, Custom, Customizable, or Mappable. Mappable entity relationships provide access to allow mapping entity fields.)

    Otherwise I would more recommend you use JS or Plugin to achieve this. Following case sample could be for your reference:
