WebResourceBase table size

Hi everyone

my environments capacity are growing in size rapidly...especially the table WebResourceBase (next to the RibbonClientMetadataBase).

I deleted these:

- system jobs (completed)

- solutions we don't actively need

- got rid of the png files for entity icons (to reduce WebResources).

No luck so far, as it is not significantly changing the capacity afterwards.

Anyone also experiencing this issue? I've seen a topic already, but let's start a discussion.

I had similar issues but Microsoft has come up with a solution to shrink Ribbonclientmetadatabase and WebResourceBase table size. I was chasing up Microsoft support team and they been very helpful to fix this issue. I confirm this issue has resolved and you should see a significant size decrease in these tables. In my case, it decreased up to 1.5GB in each environment dev and QA

    What was the solution?

Same prob here - last Monday increased by over 90% for no reason.

Support have been, well rather average. Only found this by chance as had some work to do re-cloning my sandbox and low and behold, now there isnt enough space to do anything - couple of devs sitting around unable to work!!

Ive had support working on a tier 1 case for over 24hrs and when i chase it up im told "waiting for engineering"

Does anyone have any sort of solution or workaround that can be done w/o support?

    Alex,

We are having the same issue ... have you had any luck with resolution or support from Microsoft?

    Thanks ahead of time.
