Hi All,
Is it possible to deny access to a particular module for an user.
There is an existing role,in that if I set the respective duty (Enabled) property to "NO" then will it deny access to the respective object ?
Please provide some suggestions?
Regards,
MANI

Hello,
You can create a new security role to have only particular module access by selecting relevant objects like, privileges and duties. I have done something similar to yours to display Accounts receivable module to the user but the user supposed to have additional module access on the same items.
Say for example, As I supposed to show only Accounts receivable module to user but user sees Sales and marketing and Retail module just because
the Salestable listpage being added into several modules.
I'm not sure about your scenario but still you can give a try.
Best,
Uday
Hello Mani,
Roles are probably the way for you to go forward.
I do not know where you see the enabled funtion (yes/no); in the standard application you can select a duty and the different permissions related to that duty. At the permission level you can determine the access level (no access, view, edit...)
An important question in this context is, however, whether the use of the standard roles do the job or whether it might be better and easier to create company specific roles. This is something you have to clarify for your company.
Best regards,
Ludwig
