How to apply sorting ASC/DESC on TransDate display method field - AX2012

Hi All,

We have created Display method for Transdate on one of the form, now we wanted to sort that display field on Ascending or Descending order, is it possible to do that.

Please advice.

No, it's not possible. A display method is a piece of X++ code; it doesn't exist in the database, therefore you can't filter by it when making a database query.
