I have dynamics at my company for my group (we purchase separately and the rest of the company does not have dynamics) and we use customer voice today for sending out a few surveys.

Someone else in my company has reached out saying they want to use Customer voice.  But they are not dynamics users and I don't have licenses to spare.

Can they purchase customer voice separately and use it stand alone without our Dynamics environment?  Would they have to purchase a dynamics license in my environment or could I create them a separate environment without messing up our customer voice stuff?

Can one really even use Customer voice without dynamics I thought it was required.

    Hi Partner,

    Customers without Dynamics 365 applications can purchase and use customer voice separately.

    If you are not a Dynamics 365 user, then you can only create a Customer Voice project on a default location (which is a default Dataverse for your M365 environment).

    So, let's say I grant a CV license to someone not a Dynamics user.  They don't have to have Dynamics to collect results or anything? They can use it stand alone like MS Forms?

    Is there anything they can't do like that?

    MattW -- Customer Voice entitlements from D365 license is for your tenant and not limited to D365 user. You can grant Dynamics 365 Customer Voice USL license to other user in your tenant (who does not have D365 license). See details at docs.microsoft.com/.../purchase
