Multiple Country of origin's for same product

Hi,

As the same product can be sourced from different countries, we have a problem when selling it. We need to tell on our documents for export what the Country of Origin (CoO) is.

Starting to work with batch controlled products is quite drastic, as all the products need to be transformed to batch controlled products. With a little change we can register the CoO on the batch. Alternatively you could have different product numbers for the different country of origin's. That is not an option for us.

I wonder how other companies that do not work with batch controlled products solve this problem. We work with AX2012R3.

Hi LVR,

I can't think of any way to track the country of origin of the onhand stock without batch tracking it. It would be just as much effort to introduce a new dimension as country of origin.
