I have a warehouse shipment with the posting date of 11/29/2023. The user setup allows the user to post between 11/01/2023 and 12/31/2023 yet we are getting the error
The Posting Date is not within your range of allowed posting dates.

I have checked everywhere I know to set this date and yet cannot post.

What value do you have in the Allow Posting From field in the General Ledger Setup Page? Is it earlier than 11/01/2023? And what is the posting date of the document tied to your warehouse shipment?

Its possible the system is trying to post an inventory adjustment with your shipment. If Allow Posting in the General Ledger Setup is earlier then 11/01/2023, then the system is trying to post the adjustment on this earlier date and the user trying to post doesn't have permission to post. To fix, make the Allow Posting From the same in the General Ledger Setup and User Setup Page.

Hi, is it possible that the logged in user is different from the setting user? If there is no customization, this may only be a problem with the "Allow Posting From" and "Allow Posting To" settings. If you're having a hard time figuring out what's wrong, I'd suggest having a developer debug it.
