LCS LifeCycleServices Cannot submit an incident

Does anyone know of any reason why as a customer I would not be able to submit an incident through Cloud Powered Support for my project?

I go all the way up to the point where I can click submit and the TOPIC area has an asterisk next to it but no option for me to select anything and SUBMIT is grayed out.

    Hi Keith,

    You can ask your partner about the reason. I'm not sure, but probably it is part of a certain enhancement plan.

    Just had a similar issue resolved by Microsoft Support, though we are a partner, not an end customer. Could get to the 'Describe the Issue' page, but the Topic field was only showing 'No available option' and Submit was ghosted out.

    Reason was I was logging in to the LCS portal with the wrong account.

    I was using my corporate account tied to Office 365 (check by clicking your name in the top right corner, should show Microsoft Account or O365 Account under the Login Details section), whereas I needed to be using my Microsoft Account that was used for my PartnerSource login.

    That account was linked to all our clients, and after getting that user added to the LCS project, logging in to LCS using that account, and starting a new Support Incident, a magical new field appears before the Topic field which allows you to pick which client account to log the ticket against and the Topic field becomes the pull-down menu that it always wanted to be.

    Frustration over.

    So it could be that you're not using the account that you're using to log in to CustomerSource?
