Hi all,

After attach to process in EP, the debugger is set but its not getting hit when i am opening EP web page from internet explorer.

After seting debugger i am using internet explorer to hit the web page but unable to hit the web EP page.

Can any one suggest me the best steps to do debugging of EP codes.

Can any one suggest what may be the issue is.

Hi Siddhant,

In this case, you can't use VS to debug it, but you need to use AX debugger

Have you checked already the documentation on how to do it?

Yes i made changes in X++ code of Dataset that is attached to the EP and want to debug it.

Hi Sergei,

I have changed some of the the codes in AX but that changes are not reflecting on EP.

And also when i am applying debugger on the code its also not hitting.

I have changed the code on the methods of Dataset that is attached with the EP control.

Hi Sergei,

Visual studio is installed on the same server where the SharedPoint server is located.

w3wp process attached for debugging. Yes web control is build and deployed to EP.

Is Visual Studio installed on the same server where SharePoint server is located? Which process are you trying to attach? Is web control build and deployed to EP (up-to-date)?
