Using developer box with VS licence attributed to a domain controlled account

Hello,
I'm looking for some advice please as my search skills are failing me today.
I'm wanting to develop FO code and am being directed down a cloud hosted environment route for that work, but I have a problem. Although I have a VS Pro licence to allow me to log in to Visual Studio after I create my environment/VM via LCS the VS licence is tied to my work account which is limited to use on domain enrolled devices only - and the VM is not in my domain. This results in an error when I attempt to log into VS of "You can't get there from here".
How do you as developers get around this limitation? I'm looking for options as my security team are reluctant (rightly so) to ease the restrictions.
TIA,
Mike
