Multi-select field added but will not appear on Form

I upgraded my sandbox instance of CRM Dynamics 365 to v 9 last week. I have added two multi-select fields and placed them on a Form, saved and published.

However, no matter what I try the fields do not appear on the form. When I go back to edit the form, they're there and all seems fine. Any idea why I can't get these to appear?

This is not a normal behavior , try to make publish all customization and clear all browser cache although this not required in normal scenario.

I  am guessing this could be happen for particular form  , for test purpose could you please try to create new form and add those fields in the newly created form. See how it's goes.

Agree, If you are using multi form make sure you are testing correct entity form. It may be you are checking wrong form, also it's always better to test your customisation using Preview feature before publishing your changes. You can find more steps here if you are not doing so: community.dynamics.com/.../customization-preview-enhancement-in-dynamics-crm-2016

Thank you Mahender. I'm editing the form and immediately testing it and previewing. When I add the multi-select field, the resulting form seems to have made room to accommodate the field but it's not actually appearing.

It's like the field is unable to be displayed, but the form 'knows' it's there because the section enlarges accordingly.

Thank you Goutam. I tried clearing the cache but it had no effect.

    Hi warfroggy,

Have you tried switching to/from legacy form rendering to see what happens?

    Good luck.

Thank you for the suggestion Tom. I just tried that and it had no effect. My form's section still appears expanded, as though it made room for the field, but nothing is appearing there.

I just tried adding a built-in field (Ticker Symbol) and it appears fine...a space below the "ghost" multi-select field.

Hi, We are facing the same issue. Did you ever get a solution to this?

Multi-select option field is on the form, published but does not appear of the form. There is just empty space.

It appears fine on the new Unified Interface, but not on the default interface.

Were you able to find out what was causing the issue?

Unfortunately I never discovered the root cause. I contacted support and they duplicated my form - and got the field to appear. Exactly what was causing the issue is unclear but I suspect it's a bug in the upgrade process.

Thanks for the quick reply. I have sent an email to Microsoft too, informing them of the issue.

This only happens on a particular field services form though. Other entities / forms in the system are displaying the Multi-select option field fine.

How did you manage to fix the issue in your instance? Or did Microsoft fix that for you?
