Hello, is it possible to change the window title of a dialog, as I underlined in the picture? Notice that this is not dialog.caption method that I am looking for.

Dialog caption is the first argument of Dialog constructor, e.g. new Dialog("This is a caption").

By the way, could you please explain why Dialog.caption() method isn't what you're looking for?

My consultant asked me to change the window title if possible, instead of having the name inside the dialog. I know that this is possible with forms, just curious if it is something I can also do with dialogs.

and by the way to answer your question, dialog.caption() is not what I'm looking for because it doesn't change the window title (underlined red part in the picture)

Consider carefully if you want to change this standard behavior.

If you want, remove the default caption set in run() method of Dialog form (at line 38 in my version).

How does your dialog come up? Is this an Action menu item that is starting a class which extends RunBase* framework (batch or dialog), or SysOperation framework? Or is it just a stand-alone class with some dialog/formrun logic implemented?

Typically in the first two cases all you need to do is to set the label on the menu item, and the dialog will use that. If it is the second case, then you could use dialog.caption(), or if it is doing a FormRun, then you need to set the caption on the Design of the form.
