TFS Integration with multiple models

Hi guys,

I have integrated my AX with TFS. I have installed a third party model in ISV layer (TP Model). I have created my own model(Own Model).

In TP model a standard table is customized. I am also doing some customization in the same table.

When I try to Check In the table I am unable to proceed and getting the error as below

"The model element \DD\Tables\Tablename has referenced to multiple models. This is not supported."

Help me on this please. Thanks.

Did you add to TFS the ISV's model as well?

Sorry, I also meant to ask earlier, and you are doing development in the ISV layer as well, right? Seems so (from the error). My first question would be, you must do dev in the ISV as well? Are you working on a vertical as well? Maybe you can do development on another layer.

Because, you are not going to be able to bypass the issue. In the class SysVersionControlSystemFileBased, it is clearly that this is forbidden by looking at the commandAdd method, line 13. Having code in multiple models on the same layer is not allowed.

Thanks lulian. I have gone through the class. So it is not a best practice to do so in my scenario and hence received the error.
