EcoResProductCreate form WebCam pictures capturing

Hi All.

Does anyone know how to programmatically take a picture using a webcam in X++ integrated on form ?

I would like to integrate webCam on EcoResproduct Create Form ,just like as shown on below


ImageSample.JPG


Any ideas will be appreciated.

    AX can use the .Net framework just fine, so using libraries and drivers for web cams from C# should do the trick for you. You could use any C# examples out there and either put it in AX natively, or use a C# wrapper for that as a VS project within AX.

    Another solution is if you want it integrated is to implement it as a Managed Host Control written in .Net, and could use that within the AX client seamlessly. There are examples available online.

    Search returns a lot of good examples for managed host control in AX, have a look

    So you have managed to use the webcam as a managed host control in AX? Great work!

    I would suggest to open a new topic for document handling, but it has been asked recently how to use it on the forum, try the search box on the top.
