In that case, contact your partner account manager from Microsoft. On the forum, you will mostly find functional and technical volunteers, not license experts.

is it possible de convert existing CALs to convert existing Licenses to a higher profil ?
eg : 36 x Functional User CAL - Limited Upgrade (Named User) to 12 x Enterprise User CAL (Named User) ?
Referencing download.microsoft.com/.../microsoft-dynamics-ax-2012-r3-licensing-guide.pdf on the top of page 4, there is the following:
Note: You can upgrade CALs to a higher level by acquiring additive CALs. For example, to upgrade from the Self
Serve CAL to the Task CAL, you can acquire the Task Additive CAL.
So, I would presume that this is possible. Go ahead and contact your partner / account executive and see what can be achieved.
