Dear Experts,
I am looking for the implementation of handheld devices with AX 2012 R2 specifically for Inventory. May I know what are the points I have to consider before implementing it and list of the procedure.

Hi Ahmed,
You have to consider that AX 2012 R3 and also Dynamics 365 for Operations (aka AX7) do have a devices portal out of the box which is not available for AX 2012 R2. To be able to use handheld devices in your version, usually an add-on was purchased by several customers.
The warehouse functionality in the latest versions are completely different compared to the advanced warehouse in AX 2012 R2. If you want to be able to upgrade to future versions more easily, you can consider upgrade to AX 2012 R3 and use the standard.
