How to perform periodic inventory counting?

Hi there,

is there a way to automatically generate inventory couting journal against warehouse(store) every month?

I tried using the function create lines in recurring. But after I posted the journal (set as delete line after posting), I cant enter number n the counted field that new generated line by create lines recurring batch job.

any idea?

Hello Alan,

If you are using Warehouse Management processes, you can generate counting work on a cyclical basis, but not with Counting Journals.

Over the years, I tried and I tried with no success so I'd say it is not currently possible. If someone else has been able to, i would like to know how.
