ISV code aborted the operation import error

Hi,
When importing work orders in to FieldOne via an Excel template I am receiving the error 0x80040265 "ISV code aborted the operation -Exception has been thrown by the target of an invocation.".

I have confirmed all required fields are completed accurately.

I am able to import successfully only when these OOB FieldOne plugins are disabled:
#AUTO# Create (post-operation) for f1_workorder

#AUTO# Create (pre-operation) for f1_workorder

What could be creating the error or otherwise what exactly are these plugins doing? Can they be safely disabled?

Thanks.

These plugins should not be disabled since they are required by F1 - the error maybe caused by missing required fields. Check the records that you are importing contain all fields required on the form when creating work orders.

    Hope this helps

If your version of CRM includes the ability to trace plugins (see http://dynamicscrmcoe.com/microsoft-dynamics-crm-2016-the-plugin-trace-log/), then you can set the trace level to Exception to possibly get more details about the problem.

Thanks, looks like it might be related to a missing value. I will recheck everything.

I have checked, double checked and triple checked all the fields are completed, and still the same error.

I am experiencing the same issue. OOB field service (not fieldonesky)

Try this as a workaround - export the data to Excel from a view of work orders, delete the existing data, populate the new data, then import while in the same view.
