HI,
can anyone please advise where I can find the posted invoices that are not on payment run in D365??
Vendor and customer workspace are two places from where you can see the transactions with Invoices past due and payments not settled within the vendor and customer transactions grid view.
Some reports :
For accounts payable: Accounts payable > inquiries and reports > Vendor invoice transactions report. You can an enter a criteria within invoice type = Open and run the report.
For accounts receivable: Accounts receivable > inquiries and reports> Customer invoice transactions report. You can enter a criteria within invoice type = Open and run the report.
Hope this helps.
Thanks,
Shilpi
Hello MohammadA,
There can be many reasons why invoices don't show up when you create an invoice proposal.
A first things that you can check is whether the approved parameter is active for the transaction.
If this is the case, provide some additional information and share some screenshots please.
Many thanks,
Ludwig
In addition to what SThakur and Ludwig already mentioned; kindly note that, when you run the payment proposal then those selected invoices are marked for settlement in the payment journal.
And if you check in the Settle transactions form in the payment journal; you will see the "Marked" check box is enabled against those invoices in that payment journal because you selected those invoices during payment proposal run.
Now; if you create a new payment journal with the same customer or vendor and open the Settle transactions form; you will see those invoices are already marked for settlement by another user in case if you do not post the previous payment journal.
This way also you can identify what are the open invoices are already in payment run or not in payment run.
Kindly check and provide your feedback.

invoices could not be presented in payment run for various reasons.
could you share what are your setup of vendor looks like? is customer on hold for payment?
is the payment due date outside due date suggested?
is payment method in filter matches?
Hi Sourav,
Thank you for getting back to me.
I know we can see the marked transaction that are on the payment run through settle transactions section.I was wondering if there is a report in D365 FO that shows all the invoices that are posted but not on a payment run. I meant to say like a report in this format for example.
1. Invoice date
2. Invoice due date
3. PO number
4. Invoice number
5. Supplier name
6. Amount due
7. On current payment run – “yes” or ”no”
Kind Regards,
Ameer.
Hi Rahul,
The issue is not about the invoices not showing up. I just want to know if there is a report that gives us the information of all the invoices which are in payment run but not posted.
Hi Thakur,
Thanks for getting back to me.
Through The vendor invoice transacation report,It gives all the open invoices and also the marked transaction invoice in the pending payment run that is not posted. It doesnt give any indication in the report that this invoice has already been marked.
Mohammad.
What I can see that your main objective is to get a report to show you this as you mentioned "shows all the invoices that are posted but not on a payment run".
For that, I think you need to check with the developer either to create a new report from the scratch.
Else; can consider any standard report which cover almost all the relevant details as you highlighted and then set a condition in the report generation parameter to filter the record based on On current payment run – “yes” or ”no”.
Now that we know more details about your requirement, I can say that there is no OOB report that I am aware of, which will tick all your requirement boxes.
Some of the requirements can be ticked by the standard report as I said before through the vendor invoice transactions report but some customisations would be required to fulfil all requirements especially if you want to create a condition on the payment run.
One way is you can work along with the developer if he can define relationship between the tables and create a query.
