I'd like to try Dynamics 365 Guides. How do I get started?
To try Dynamics 365 Guides, you need a HoloLens, a Windows 10 PC and a Guides license. A Guides license is required because all guides and their associated files are stored in Dynamics 365. The Guides license is available currently on a 6-month free trial.
To sign up for a Guides license, please follow the self-serve instructions here: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics365/mixed-reality/guides/setup
After getting your trial license, please make sure your HoloLens and PC are on the following OS versions. The above setup instructions include specifics around how to install the apps and get started:
To check if you have the latest OS versions on your HoloLens or PC, go to Settings > Update & Security > Check for updates. If the device has not been updated yet, you will be able to manually launch an update.
