I want to use Dynamics 365 App for Outlook, which is asking to email (incoming and outgoing) to configure both, But I don't want to receive and send email from Dynamics .

How I can use Dynamics 365 App for Outlook app without sending and receiving email from dynamics.

Good day Bhabani,

You could use Dynamics 365 App for Outlook to help you track mails activities from Outlook Client to Dynamics then you don't need to send mails from Dynamics CE end.

For example, when you open an email message, view information from your Dynamics 365 app about the email recipients. Or with a single click, link an Outlook email message or appointment to a specific Dynamics 365 record. When you link an email message or appointment to a Dynamics 365 record, the Outlook record appears as an activity for that record in Dynamics 365 apps.

if I disable email settings incoming and outgoing in D365 I am not able to access the app for outlook as above image. I disabled the settings as I don't want user to send and received email from the D365.

Hello Bhabani,

I get you message that you don't want write mail or receive mail from D365 Application. If we wrote or received mail from Outlook. We need to sync these mails to D365 Application.

That's why we must configure SSS of Incoming and Outgoing for mail activities synchronize.

After you installed the App for outlook add-on then you could write/receive mail from outlook and sync mail activities to D365 CE.
