Microsoft Flow Campaign Response

Hey all,

I have a flow setup that listens for HTTP request form our web form (Ninja Forms). The goal is to create a campaign response when the form is filled out on the website and submitted. Unfortunately, I can't seem to get the Campaign Response flow to recognize the parent campaign name/ID.

I have the flow post data to Microsoft Teams so that I can confirm it's making it through the JSON part Ok. I'm stuck. Has anyone used this before?

Note: I just figured out that there are two versions of this module, but I'm getting the same response for both. I have tried using the campaign name and campaign code but both give the same error.

I feel like I need a different ID for the parent campaign, but I'm not sure what that would be. Any help will be greatly appreciated!

    Hi mlinton,

I would recommend that you also post the same thread in the Power Automate community to get help from Flow experts too.

    Thank you for the suggestion!

I have posted a copy of this question over there as well.

If I get a solution over there, I'll post it here for others that may run into this problem.

    UPDATE!

    1. Thank you for your responses.

    2. I replaced the campaign name with the GUID of the campaign I wanted to associate the responses with and it worked like a charm!

For any other new people out there, here is an easy way to get the campaign GUID.

    1. Open the campaign.

    2. Click the button above the campaign window that says "Email a Link"

     - The link will be pasted into a new email window (if you are using Outlook)

    3. Look at the very end of the link it will have id= and a long string of letters/numbers with a few dashes. That is the campaign GUID.

    4. Paste the GUID into the parent campaign name box and it should work.

I have not testing this with another flow of mine but it looks like this might be the case for any flow that uses a Lookup Record.
