How to enable InventDim fields without using the ItemId?

I have this code for active fields with ItemId and use the class InventDimCtrl_Frm_EditDimensions

 case InventDimFormDesignUpdate::FieldChange :                                           inventDimFormSetup.formActiveSetup(InventDimGroupSetup::newItemId(Table.ItemId));                         InventDim.clearNotSelectedDim(inventDimFormSetup.parmDimParmEnabled());                         inventDimFormSetup.formSetControls( true);                               break;

Hi,

Can you tell about what you exactly want to achieve? The released product has groups set up for the product, storage, and tracking dimensions. This would drive which dimensions will be available per item.

E.g. it doesn't make sense to activate the serial number dimension in case it is not activated for the item.
