A Critical Stop Error showing Number Sequence exceeded displays while trying to post a inventory journal. How to solve this.

Double check if indeed the number sequence ran out. If that's true, just change to a new sequence.

It sounds like a number sequence has run out of numbers to give. You need to find the affected number sequence. I'd the error contains a RecId, I find the easiest way is to filter on the RecId field in the NumberSequenceTable in the AOT.
Once you find the number sequence, you can adjust it to make more numbers available, or you can create a new number sequence and assign it in place of the old one.
