Stockkeeping Units - All 0 Quantity on Hand

Posted on by 2

The stockkeeping units page shows 0 quantity on hand for all SKUs in the system. This is even though there are amounts in the quantity on hand field on the actual item card.

Example:

Item No. 30035398

Quantity on Hand: 14

SKU: 30035398.0001 -0034 (SKUs are a combination of item number and variant number)

Quantity on Hand: 0 for all SKUs of that item number.

Would anyone know why the quantities are not updated throughout the SKUs? The item quantity on hand amount is spread out among the variants but when looking at the SKU card for those variants it always shows 0.

So I went deeper into the field to find the Sum() calculation and removed the location field from that location. I am happy to report that this fixed the issue and now the actual quantities are appearing both in the SKU list and on the SKU cards.

    Edward,

Stock Keeping units can be used for combination of Location and Variant code, and i believe that is how it is setup in your system.

Is the location code has value on the stock keeping unit card ?

The Quantity on Hand on the item card show everything available for that item irrespective of location or variant.

But on the stocking keeping unit it shows the inventory pertain to the location and variant on the SKU, so that may be the reason why it is not showing correctly for you.

OK. then Are you also using Location Code in SKU card or not?

If you see the CalcFormula property in table SKU and field Inventory then you will understand

When I go deeper into that field it is called "Inventory".

I didn't have Quantity on Hand field in my database.

Please check whether it is a standard field or customized.

If it is customized then  you have to contact your partner.

So I noticed that when I clicked on the Quantity on Hand field in the Stockkeeping Unit Card, it brought me to Item Ledger Entries with 3 filters automatically entered in. They include: variant code, location code, and item no. When I remove the location code which is set to " then I see my correct quantities.

How do I change how the Quantity on Hand is calculated so that it doesn't include this location code filter?
