Hi expert, I have installed the customized components (three tiers) in one machine.  I have set up several users in the SQL server (not express). When I opened the NAV development, I could log in under different users like the old version (before 2009). But when I opened RTC, it opened without  asking for the user name and password.  I realized the RTC account goes with the login account in the NAV development. Does it mean that I  need to login in the NAV development first and RTC goes with whatever the login account in the development?

So if I installed only client in a new machine, where would the user enter the user name and password in RTC? What components need to be installed in the client machine besides the Client component? Will the NAV development components be installed in the client machine?  Thank you!

No, we need to specify the "ClientCredentialType" in Customsettings and ClientUserSettings file.
