How to use query and business logic both in RDP complex Report

I have created an AX Query, but at some moment I realize that one of the fields of my report required some business logic conditions.

Now I want to utilize my query in RDP Class so that I would get data from the query as well as get my conditional field in my RDP Class.

My required logic is as under:

Thanks

I have the same question (0)

    Hi HammadAhmed12,

Are you asking how to use query in the report DP class?

If yes, you can mention the query in the Dp class using query attribute.

For example, refer to "HcmWorkerResumeDp" class for accessing AOT query.

    Thanks,

    Girish S.

Are you asking how to design a query with the screenshot you pasted?

    Can you elaborate more?

    Thanks,

    Girish S.

I am not able to understand the query in the screenshot - If possible, can you explain us the functionality that is required?

Based on that we can give you a suggestion.

    Thanks,

    Girish S.

basically, I have got a requirement of building an SSRS report. Firstly I designed the SQL Query and test my logic in that query to confirm how would i build my report. Then I start building that query in AX and designed it too but in my SQL query one field is computed based on an if-else condition so what should I do now?

I am asking what is the functionality of the computed column.

If you understand the functionality of the computed column, you will be able to convert that into X++ code in your report dp class.

So first try to understand what the computed column will return and how the query is built.

    Thanks,

    Girish S
