I know that Requirement Groups are not supported with the RSO. But are there any other options where you have a location\facility which is closed on mondays and a bookable resource has a workschedule from monday to friday, that the requirement may not be booked on monday? Workorders are created 60 days in advanced of the due date.

Maybe you can use locked booking with a window on full monday.
RSO is rather strict - if you need 6 hours, RSO will need to find a single slot of at least 6 hours.
Resource Scheduling Optimization will always include locked bookings as part of the optimized schedule.
