How to us the "Unattached expenses reminder" and "Unsubmitted expense report reminder" in D365?

Hi, I'm trying to enable both "Unattached expenses reminder" and "Unsubmitted expense report reminder" under Periodic Tasks in Expense Management in D365FO. When I attempt to do so, and test on myself as the worker and owner of the expense, I get no notification. Regardless of what I select as the criteria. Does anyone know how to enable this so that the worker receives a notification for both of these items?

Hi

Did you ever find an answer to your query. I have been trying to setup same thing but everytime I run it, I get "The email address provided for the sender is not valid." error. I am not sure where to setup the sender email address.

The email address has to be set up on the worker under "primary contact email" and we had to set the reminders up as batch jobs.

As a pre -requisite, user must be linked with worker and sender email ID is not picked from email provided for user details.

Rather sender mail must be set. Using user options > Account

Don't know if anyone else has tried this, but the date filter does not appear to work correctly. I tried to use this for people with expenses older than 90 days by setting the days filter & it still sent messages to people with unsubmitted expenses from the last 5 days. Just chalk it up to another function that doesn't work as intended.
