SSRS Reporting service extension installation failed

Hi,

I am facing a problem while installation of SSRS reporting extension for Microsoft Dynamics Ax 2012 R3.

The following error message is appearing

"An error occurred during setup of the Reporting Services extensions at MSSQLSERVER.
The following error/warning occurred:An error occurred during installation of the Microsoft Dynamics AX Reporting Services extensions. See the installation log for details.
Log file location:C:\Program Files\Microsoft Dynamics AX\60\Setup Logs\2020-04-12 14-06-46\Components64 Log.txt"

An error occurred during setup of Reporting Services extensions.
2020-04-12 19:16:24Z Reason: Version string portion was too short or too long.

I tried to search it a lot but still not found any solution, some people refer the hotfix # KB3216898 from Microsoft, when i tried to download it, it is unavailable.

Please suggest..

Nigel found his problem was .Net 4.
