Search Accounts that didn't have any OPPTY before certain date

hi everyone,

Does anybody know how I can create a personal view to search Accounts that didn't have any OPPTY before a certain date?

I need to create a view of "new customers".

It's easy to do so for Accounts that were only created this FY in CRM. But what about those that were already added as a prospect before, but were we never actually won any OPPTY?

    Hi partner,

If you want to create a view with the accounts without opportunities, you could go to Advanced Find ->Select Account as main entity and  select "Opportunities(Account)" related relationship and set the filter to "does not contain data".

I'm not very clear about "already added as a prospect before", if my understanding is not correct, please kindly share more details about your requirement.

    Best Regards,

    Leo

    Hi Leo,

that won't work. I need a view that shows me accounts that

    * didn't have OPPTY before 1/1/2019

    * but does have a won OPPTY on or after 1/1/2019

    Hi partner,

According to your requirement, I recommend you to use the following thought.

1.Create a Roll up feild(Whole number) named Ldate in account form to store the count of the related opportunities created before 2019.1.1.

    2. Create another new roll up field(Whole number) called Adate in account form to store the count of related opportunities which won and created after 2019.1.1

After that, we could convert your filter to "Ldate=0&&Adate>0".

Then we could get the view with Advanced find easily.

For example, my account wide has 2 opportunities created before 2019.1.1 and the rool up fields show the result directly and clearly.

BTW, the roll up field will refresh the value each 12 hours in default, we could change it to 1h. You could also click on the "Recalculate" button to refresh immediately.

    Hope it helps.
