Retail transaction service timeout error while invoicing large num of lines in POS

Hi All,There will be more than 100 sales lines created for a sales order. If I recall the customer order in MPOS, tried to do invoicing in POS, it is throwing an error " Retail transaction timeout. Please retry".

Tried to change timeout to 5 mints in webconfig file. It is working fine.

As per customer, timeout should not be more than 3 mints.

Is there any way to avoid timeout within the limit of 3 mints.

Kindly suggest me what can be done

    Adding event viewer message:

    "Microsoft_Dynamics_Commerce_Runtime_TransactionServiceTimeOut ErrorMessage The Retail Transaction Service call did not complete within the Transaction Service callout timeout period. Check if the Retail Transaction Service is working properly."

    Thanks for the reply...It is to avoid creating of duplicates at AX side.

    As you confirmed, it is working when the time out is increased, it is clear that there is a bottle neck in network or AX application. To confirm if it is network releated, you can roll out a POS in HQ and connect it  by LAN to see any improvment is there. If the issue persists, check for bottle necks in AX performance.

    Note: Have you checked much time does it take to invoice a Sales order with 100 lines in AX Client?

    Hi Shafeeq,

    Thanks for the reply. The time taken for invoicing in AX is very less compare to MPOS. When I got trace for invoicing in mpos, ServerEvalFunc is taking major time, What can be done to improve this
