TFS Build failed

Hi all,

we have a Dynamics Ax2012R3 environment integrated with TFS 2013. We implementead in addition the build process. It runs good but during compilation it failed with the error:

"The defect failed to be created. Please check that the build service account is a member of the DefectCreators group. Also, verify that domain\my_build_Service_Account is a valid username and a member of the TriageTeam group.Original Error: TF201077: The work item type Defect cannot be found. It may have been renamed or destroyed."

of course the build service account is administrator of the build server and it is member of tfs build aministrator on TFS. I do not understand what are the groups DefectCreators and TriageTeam. do you think this error is rally about permission?

lookinf for error TF201077 I found this post https://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums/vstudio/en-US/b5ee2890-2afe-457d-9be7-3437e8538703/tf201077-when-i-want-run-build?prof=required but I cannot follow the mentioned procedure as I'm not able to find the default bug wit to import in my project.

do you have any suggestion about this errore. have you ever face it?

thank you all

    RE: TFS Build failed

It seems that your build is configured to create a work item on failure, but it doesn't have permissions to do that. If you don't want it to create work items, disable it. If you want it, you'll have to fix the permissions. The fact that it's a build administrator isn't relevant, because doesn't grant permissions in work item tracking; these are two different things.
