Permissions to allow calculation of depreciation but prevent posting

Can you create custom permissions that allows Depreciation to be calculated in BC but prevents the user from posting the depreciation journals?

    Hi, you can use the following method to record the permissions required for each process.
    Dynamics 365 Business Central: How to create or modify permissions by recording your actions (Record Permissions)
     
    Then just exclude the posting permission.

    a simple way is to create a customized permission set by recording in BC. here is some reference.

    Yes, you can give permissions to the Calculate Depreciation function and to modify the FA GL Journal, but not permissions to post the journal.
